babies, babies everywhere

Seems like every week since the ball dropped for 2009 one of my friends has announced they are expecting this year. I currently have 10 friends from high school, college, my neighborhood, and work waiting for their lil angels to arrive this spring, summer and fall. The first to have their bundle of joy is my dear friend Lisa. She and her husband were blessed with Olivia Leslie on March 5. I had the pleasure of taking Olivia's birth announcement pictures this weekend. I love newborn sessions. Makes me think about my lil guy in my belly who will arrive on May 11.

The edit was hard, but here are a few of my favorite photos!

They look so complete with their daughter in their arms!

The peaceful angel!

I love babies feet! I'm still amazed how small they are.

Lisa is a natural. Olivia is so blessed to have such an amazing woman as a mother.
Look at those worry lines..what could she be worried about? When's my next bottle?

Her first Red Sox hat!

Catching Up and the Butler Shoot

Wow, I can't believe it's been 2 months since I've updated this thing. I'm so sorry for the delay. Life here has been kind of crazy.

Pregnancy News: I started feeling better in late December, no more morning sickness, but in late January the back pain began. I thought it was the typical back pain, but it has gotten worse and worse over the past month. Three weeks ago I was put on light duty by my doctor and told not to lift more than 10lbs. I will start physical therapy next week and I am looking into yoga to help. I'm 29 weeks and only 10 to go! Next week I should find out the date of my scheduled delivery.

Business is going well. I booked a fabulous wedding with Sara and Matt in Sonoma, California in October. Jimmy and I will head out for a long weekend and have a fabulous time documenting their exciting and romantic wedding @viansa.com. It will be a great time of year in wine country and a nice break for us with my parents watching the two kids.

Here are some photos from my most recent session with the Butler's. I can't believe Natalie is 9 months already. Seems like just yesterday I was holding her in the hospital after Jaymi delivered her last May. I have had so much fun watching their baby girl grow up from behind my camera this past year. This time we mixed it up a bit and took it outside, on location at Ballast Point Park in Tampa. The weather was perfect and we finally got some smiles out of the lil "Bear!"
